Search The Bible
Find a word, phrase, or name across Scripture — or type a reference and go straight to that passage.
Search is for the moments you remember a phrase but not the chapter. Try love, faith, shepherd, or a name like Abraham, and scan matching verses in the version you choose.
If you type a reference such as Matthew 5:1–12 or Romans 8:28, Search treats that as a lookup and takes you to the passage instead of running a keyword search.
Use the menus to stay in one version, limit the search to the Old or New Testament, or search a single book. Matching words are highlighted in the results.
